Sponsor Spotlight - The Stamps of Life

Our Sponsor Spotlight today is The Stamps of Life.

I could tell you all about my industry resume, but that's a little boring. Just trust that I've been in the business since 1998...contributing magazine editor, product designer, teacher, TV spokesperson, QVC demonstrator, published designer, published author....blah, blah, blah.....
Ok, hey, I love stamps, I love paper. My job is my hobby and my hobby is my job.
I love sharing my life with others. (Check out my {Life} with Stephanie Videos!)
I love Diet Coke, Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, the beach, God, my family, hugs, anti-bacterial lotion, scrapbooking and stamping. {Just not all in that order....}
Grab a Diet Coke and stay awhile......sign up for our newsletter (envelope button at the top of the page) and check out our travel schedule...hopefully we can meet in person someday!
Happy Stamping!

P.S. Yes, I DO love Diet Coke. I even drink it for breakfast! Never had a sip of coffee in my life! ;)

Just a little Pick-Me-Up

This is just a little Pick Me Up to let everyone involved with breast cancer know that you have lots of friends praying and hoping for a cure real soon. So here is my creation made just for you.

This adorable image is from Beccy's Place, and the beautiful textured ribbon is from Rhonda, Bumblebee Creations, that I won as part of my prize on a Fresh Brewed Design Challenge.  So I thought it was great to put it on a special card made for an awesome reason.  I hope you enjoyed my creations as much as I enjoy creating them.

And to all the Crafty Scrappers out in blogland, you still have time to enter Challenge No. 4, sponsored by Ippity Chick - Mary's Creative Journey and 3 Girl Jam.
Winners for both July giveaways and Challenge No. 4 will be announced on Friday, August, 3rd.

Put Your Brave Girl Boots On

When we had something difficult in our lives to deal with my grandfather would always say "Pick your self up by your boot straps and deal with it"

My daughters used to get frustrated with me at times when I would quote grandpa and tell them that. I think they wanted a little more sympathy, but I always felt like grandpa was right.
You need to get back up and come out fighting, so to speak.

That was my inspiration for today's card.

Supplies used: cardstock - white, brown, pink; patterned paper - Cowgirl and Side Saddle in Filly by Moxie; pearls - BoBunny; twine - LUFP; button - my stash; stamps - Brave Girls itty bitty by Unity Stamp Co.; ink - frayed burlap Distress Ink by Tim Holtz for Ranger; corner rounder - Fiskars; Pop Dots.

Don't forget Ippity Chick - Mary's Creative Journey and 3 Girl Jam are sponsoring our LUFP Challenge No. 4
Winners for both July giveaways and Challenge No. 4 will be announced on Friday, August, 3rd.

Courage Is My Strength!

Hello friends! I hope you're having a great day!  I created this card using a set of stamps from Unity Stamp Company: Ippity Stamps the set I used is called Courage Is My Strength.  A perfect card for someone who just might need an awesome pick-me-up!

How does breast cancer grow and spread?

To grow, malignant breast tumors need to be fed. They
get nourishment by developing new blood vessels in a
process called angiogenesis. The new blood vessels
supply the tumor with nutrients that promote growth.
As the malignant breast tumor grows, it can expand
into nearby tissue. This process is called invasion.
Cells can also break away from the primary, or main
tumor and spread to other parts of the body. The cells
spread by traveling through the blood stream and/or
lymphatic system. This process is called metastasis.
When malignant breast cells appear in a new location,
they begin to divide and grow out of control again as
they create another tumor. Even though the new tumor
is growing in another part of the body, it is still called
breast cancer. The most common locations of metastatic
breast cancer are the lungs, liver, bones and brain.

If You Are Blue.....

Children often come up with the best statements. I felt this one was perfect for a card to go to someone going through breast cancer.

Often as a cancer patient you find yourself feeling blue, and with all you are going through it is to be expected. Sometimes you just need a little card or note to pick you up and let you know someone cares.

This was the inspiration for my card:

Supplies used: cardstock - white, black, 2 shades of pink; stamp - Kid Quotes by Inkadinkado; ink Tukedo Black by Memento; cut file - Silhouette Studio

Take care of your girls - get your mammograms!!

Come join us tomorrow for our 1st blog hop!!!!!!

Don't forget to enter Challenge No.4:
