You Can't Scare Me...

I think this holds true for anyone who has been through chemotherapy, etc. You feel like after that you can take on anything, 'cause what could be worse?

That was my inspiration for this little Halloween card.

It was created with a digi from Bugaboo Stamps, one of our generous sponsors!!
The digi is called Goofy Ghost which you can purchase here.

Supplies used: cardstock - white, grey, pink, black; patterned papers from Dear Lizzy and Hello Sunshine by American Crafts; digital image - Bugaboo Stamps; Copic Markers; Silhouette Studio cut files; embossing folder - Sizzix; Pop Dots.

For those of you who have been following this blog for awhile you know that I am a breast cancer survivor and this year marks 10 years cancer free!!!!

In honor of hitting my 10 year anniversary my daughter threw me a party! She called it "Pamper Yourself Pink". She mailed out these darling invitations to my friends and family who supported me through my treatments and fight against cancer.

I want to share a few pics of the party with you and some of the neat things she came up with.

Here is a shot of the table:

It's hard to tell in this photo, but she had little cards next to each dish of food she had prepared and the beverages. Everything she made for the party was helpful in fighting cancer, along with being delicious. Here are some close ups of the cards:

She had these darling badges for everyone to wear:

The super cute boobie cake she made me:

Besides all of us gals getting together and having fun she wanted it to be educational to everyone and help raise awareness. Therefore along with the wonderful cancer fighting foods she had a super quiz about all kinds of breast cancer facts (some I didn't even know), with a prize going to the person with the most answers correct.

Both of my daughters collaborated  on these bracelets and gave them out at the party:

Pretty touching, isn't it?

I had made favors for all my guests that had darling Hershey Kisses that I embellished with stamps loaned to me from my good friend Gaby of Gaby Creates and a printable that my good friend Yolie of Just Yolie made for me. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics of them :(

My sister made me this gorgeous quilt:

Last here is a pic of me with my two beautiful daughters:

It was a beautiful and special day that I will never forget!!!
Thank you for letting me share it with all of you!!!!
