When you are faced with what is possibly a terminal illness all of your priorities change instantly. You realize how trivial many of the things in life that upset you, you worried about, made you mad, etc., are.
So many of the things that get our ire up, if we were to just stop and think "Will this matter to me at all if I were to die tomorrow?", I think we would change our mind.
Having cancer really changed my life in so many ways. A ton of the things I used to let upset me I truly just shrug off now. It has actually made my life so much happier!!!
This month I just passed my ten year mark of being cancer free and I can honestly say this lesson still holds true. I still feel that every breath is a gift!!!
That is the inspiration for todays card.
