Walking Towards A Cure

As a breast cancer survivor the Walk/Race For The Cure is very therapeutic in so many ways. It is very empowering to gather with other survivors who have been through all the things you have. It is also wonderful to feel the support of so many friends and family walking with you. And, one of the best things, you feel like you are doing something proactive in hopes that your children and grandchildren will not have to know the fear of being diagnosed with breast cancer.

This was the inspiration for my card today. It was made with a cut file from Silhouette Studio. The sentiment was printed out on my computer. I added a pink ribbon sticker and a shoelace.

Supplies used - cardstock - white; patterned paper - Re:Peat in Upcycle by Cosmo Cricket; font - Marker Felt; Silhouette Studio cut file; Pink Ribbon sticker - my stash; shoelace.
