Thinking of You

Are you good at letting your friends know you care about them?

Being someone's friend means doing more than just thinking about them -- you need to let them know you are doing it. Pick up the phone, write the email or better yet, send them a handmade card!

Loved ones and friends that you have will always love a note from you that lets then know you care. Even if they are not sick, going through struggles, or down on their luck, people enjoy knowing that someone is thinking about them and cares for them, and this is especially true for someone going through cancer treatments.

Make someone else’s day by sending them a thinking of you card. It only takes a moment, but the effect is instant and lasting.

Here is my card that I made for all of you and hope you enjoy and it brings a smile.  Have a wonderful day.

The patterned paper I used is Authentic, the Lovely Collection, Fancy 2 sided paper.
The sentiment I made on my computer.
The punches for the sentiment are from Stampin' Up.
The lace and applique are from my stash.
The image is from Pinterest, no name entered.

A Rose for You

Hi again, I am back with a post for all the Mother's out there and wish you a very happy Mother's Day.

I used card stock from my stash.

The Rose and Leaves are Spellbinders stamps and dies and colored with Copic Markers.

 

The sentiment for Mother's Day was done on my computer and punched with a Stampin' Up punch.

 

The ribbon was also from my stash.

 

Remember, Challenge 12 is now going on, but you only have until midnight May 9th, so you need to get your creations posted not only to support those fighting the battle of Breast Cancer, but also to win a fabulous prize from Design on Cloud 9.

Hi my scrappin' friends,  this is just a little reminder to let you know Link Up For Pink Challenge 12 is now going on and I hope to see all of your fantastic cards and creations entered.  Here is a cutie of a card that I changed up a bit, but was shown to me by a Stampin' Up friend.  It just seemed so bright and cheerful and so I changed the sentiment and here it is.

 

This card was made out of scraps and the sentiment is from Just Rite Stamps.

The embossing folder is Square Lattice by Stampin' Up.
